How can I be... without you?
How can I be, without you?
It is there, forlorn cause
Forever out of view,
Not dragging for pause.
Beautiful as always,
Uglier as it flows.
What persists is surrender
To the rot or ashes.
Broken memorial through
Sights beyond horizon,
I weep without your gaze
Hateful as it shines.
Surrender is the will
Of a headless god
In truthful agony
Cyphered into being
For nothing, no more
Enchanted disgust.
Strange is the face that it wears
As the fated trance unveils
The rot that lingers over her.
Cassilda's lament, the twin suns
And the darkness of the lake.
She weeps without your gaze.
Never a frown lovers become
Blooming lillies above schola
Singing the song in unison.
A chorus dies unheard
While lovers went aground,
Dreadful as rain flows.
How can you be, without me?
She screams into the sky
As the twin moons slip behind
The mountain of her grief.
Forever out of reach,
Lost in promise.
